SPECIFIC TECHNOLOGIES

The most important thing to remember when thinking about Stargate technology is that the television show has already unveiled a lot of fantastic devices.  The books give game statistics for most of the common technology seen on the television show, so those pieces are ready for in-game use.  There are too many devices for the books to cover, however, so many things are bound to be left out.  A good DM can assign their own stats as needed and even weave story plots around various objects.  Any DM should consider two major things: first, we don't know where a lot of the technology on the show came from - the Goa'uld, for instance, scavenge their technology over time and nothing is said about the creators.  They might be dead, or they might not.  Secondly, there are bound to be a great number of civilizations that have fallen throughout the galaxy, leaving their technology behind for anyone to pick up.

My review of Stargate technologies are broken down by the races that use and/or have created them:

The Technology of the Asgard:  As commonly seen on the show and useful to the game

The Technology of the Goa'uld Part I:  Goa'uld weapons as commonly seen on the show and useful to the game

The Technology of the Goa'uld Part II:   Goa'uld healing devices, communication devices, and miscellaneous technology as commonly seen on the show and useful to the game
